Built From the Ground Up Built the Way You Want It
Go Pro Construction manages every phase of custom home building under one contract, from the first site visit to certificate of occupancy.
Dozens of Successful Home Builds Throughout Maryland, DC & Virginia
Ground-up home construction is the most complex project a contractor can take on. Every design decision has structural, mechanical, and financial consequences that play out over months of construction.
Go Pro has completed more than 20 custom homes across the DMV, with additional projects in progress and five or more expected to complete in 2026. Our design-build model means the team designing your home is the same team building it. That means one contract and one point of contact, accountable for all outcomes from day one to the day you get your keys.
Everything Your New Home Requires Under One Roof
Go Pro Construction handles your dream home with the same care and professionalism of a home we would build for ourselves:

Answers to Common Questions About Building a Custom Home
Go Pro has completed more than 20 custom homes across the DMV, with additional projects currently in progress. Five or more new homes are expected to reach completion in 2026. New construction is an active and growing part of the Go Pro portfolio.
The full process. Architecture, engineering, permitting, construction, and certificate of occupancy are all managed under one contract. You work with one team and one point of contact from the initial design conversation through move-in day — no separate architect to hire, no permitting office to navigate on your own.
You work directly with the Go Pro design team to develop your home’s layout, structural specifications, material selections, and finishes. The design phase produces architectural drawings, engineering coordination, and a detailed scope of work that drives both the permit submission and the construction schedule. Material selections are made in person at Go Pro’s design center in Gaithersburg, where you can see and compare options before committing.
Custom home timelines vary based on size, complexity, site conditions, and local permitting. Most projects run between 10 and 18 months from design kick-off through certificate of occupancy. We provide a detailed project schedule during pre-construction so you have a clear picture of every phase before work begins.
Go Pro holds contractor licenses in Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia — one of a small number of DMV contractors licensed across all three jurisdictions. We manage permitting, inspections, and code compliance in each, which is particularly relevant for new construction given the variation in zoning, building code, and inspection requirements across the region.
Yes. If you have an existing lot, we can begin with a site assessment and design consultation to evaluate buildability, setback requirements, utility connections, and any zoning considerations before design work begins.
